All my paintings have a special anti-UV rays varnish sprayed on to protect the colors from fading or going yellow and to protect the painting as a whole. A damp sponge may be applied to this varnish to remove dust and clean the painting.

Oil was found in Turkana in 2012. Immediately plans were made to build a Dubai bis at Turkana when a fresh water lake was found under Lake Turkana. Learning this news and seeing foreigners entering their land, this Turkana lady cried out “Don’t let them kill us like flies” fearing that she would be expelled from her home land and fear for her life. I was so struck by the expression of horror and fear on this ladies face that I had to paint her and also let her fears be heard.
