The Milgis Trust – Helen Douglas Dufresne. Helen and her team fight for and achieve the conservation of wildlife living hand in hand with the local nomadic people which means the conservation of the people too. The mission of the Milgis Trust is : “To sustain the wildlife, habitat, and the pastoral people’s way of life in northern Kenya”. Helen literally works miracles. If you have a passion for wildlife and for solutions of moving forward hand in hand with the local people for all to reach a consistent existence, donate to the Milgis Trust and become member of an exceptional cause.
Supreme Safaris – Helen Spyropoulos – If you’re looking for a “tailor made for you” safari, away from the madding crowds and tourist milk runs, at no extra cost (if you were to book it yourself), Helen will build your itinerary and make your dreams come true. I only ever use Helen to book our safaris and we go to some very remote, wild and beautiful places. Remember, you only have one life. What are YOU doing to make it special before it ends ?? !!
Island Camp Resort (Paradise) – Lake Baringo. I’ve put the Facebook page for the link as due to the extraordinary high flooding of the rivers feeding the lake, the camp closed. (Many of the rooms are under the lake’s waters.) But, instructions to go to paradise itself, are on Facebook. You can also contact Supreme Safaris who will give you all the information you need and make any exclusive bookings – even if the camp is closed !!
