This family came to drink during a dust storm. It was so dry. There was no grass, just the strong dry winds that whipped up and swirled the dust in the air. To reach the water, the family had to go past a pride of hungary lions. This is why the babies and very young elephant are carefully kept in the centre of the elephant herds, the matriarchs keeping an ever watchful eye on those precious young.
