These matriarchs have all put their heads together for a discussion. You can feel the messages being passed to each other as they stand together and one can observe their attachment to each other, perhaps deciding where to go next to feed, rest or drink. Elephants do communicate with each other on wave lengths though no deep research has been done yet to uncover their communication secrets.

All my painting have a special anti-UV rays varnish sprayed on to protect the colors from fading or going yellow and to protect the painting as a whole. A damp sponge may be applied to this varnish to remove dust and clean the painting.
I used metallic acrylic paints on this painting to gain movement in the light on the elephants faces. A special sculpturing paste hints at a 3D effect.
